Fathers matter. It is sad to see this. I choked up when I saw Michael Jacksons daughter cry at his funeral and say that he was the greatest dad ever. I am so sad seeing this footage knowing that these girls no longer have their dad. We knew his death was coming but it is always different when it happens. I am turning 49 this year. Stuarts death is a reminder that 1) life is short - count your blessings 2) the love, guidance nd support of a father is so desperately needed in all cultures- but especially in the USA And: 3) Ill never give up on my kids-no matter what is thrown my way, I will be a daily influence in their lives in one way or another Stuart Scott was, from what I saw and read, a good man...and apparently a great father.
