Fatphobia/shaming, Transmisogyny/phobia, and Queerphobia/erasure is so rampant in these so called activist movements it makes me question what is revolutionary about it. If your ~movements~ are just as, if not more, exclusionary as the existing dominant culture spaces, if youre following the same norms and practices as the existing kyriarchal structures how are you expecting under-represented and marginalized members of our communities to ~magically~ appear??? If they/we dont feel safe in your spaces aint no one going to give up what little safety they are afforded to come join your movement. Intentionality is key. Flippancy is repelling, so is your dismissive attitude to appeals from these (and similarly identifying/positioned) communities.
