Favor In 14 ... HE SHALL HEAR MY VOICE! - “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.” (Psalms 55:17) You say, After all thats happened to you, the vandalism, the 4 times in the hospital, the nearly burning your house down; arent you bitter; how can you say He hears your voice? NO; Im not bitter; and YES, He hears and heard my voice! God got me out of there BEFORE the fire; if I had been there, I would not have been able to get out. The Lord protected me all the way through it, from the first rocks thrown through my windows to the fire on Halloween night that left mostly only the structure of my home standing. I love My Lord today, more than yesterday; each day He grows sweeter; Hes the lover of my soul. What do you do when youre left with the clothes on your back and your Bible? You march on! You stand up; you get up; you raise Him up with your praise ... and you march on! Yes, Im devastated; yes Ive cried oceans of tears; yes I wonder where to go next; yes I feel totally violated and abused ... but, Jesus Christ is still My Lord and My love! Why waste time and energy wondering WHY? What the devil meant for evil, God meant for good; we all know ... by and by. It appears they actually broke in and set fires in my bed in the master bedroom and in my office room; theres nothing left of those two rooms; theyre gone. So, if Id been there, I would have been able to identify them and who knows what would have happened. Im alive and I have My Lord, My Bible, and My Church! Thats enough.
