Back in the day when anti-Semitism was more in the open this family was well known around the United States due largely to the efforts of folks like Henry Ford. Fascism is generally seen as a form of governance where there is a centralization of power that works in close concert with modern industry. One can qualify it in different ways but under the Nazis banking houses that were predominantly Jewish were excluded and eventually even euthanized. Its interesting to note how they came to be banking dynasties in the first place of course. It was at the behest of the kinds of Europe and one of the few avenues open to Jews for advancement. Jews were generally relegated to slums and banned from most occupations. Christians by comparison were banned from usury or lending at interest. It was actually do to political and social oppression that goes back to The Romans that Jews came to be associated with modern banking practices. It wasnt a conspiracy on their part it was an adaptation. Once the laws against Christian usury were formally relaxed you started to see non-Jewish banking interests emerge notably in Italy during The Renaissance. If you are critical of modern banking you would be better served to include the non-Jewish banks as a result at least if you want an accurate picture.
