Favourite and most precious moment of the my Festive Season. In the wee small hours of this morning, I retired to bed, around fifteen minutes before Rice... as I left the Lady of the House, to see off our last, loud guests into their taxis. Slightly inebriated and completely exhausted..lying in our marital bed. I faintly recall hearing her entering the room and undressing. Just after, I felt her climb into bed beside me. She preceded to put her arm around me...... kiss me on the side of the face and whisper ....I love you Babe. Intoxicated as I was. I will always remember from this present sober moment onwards, the feeling of overwhelming contentedness. I fell asleep.... this January the First, with a Huge Big smile on my face and loved. They say Theres nothing better to love ...and to feel loved and they also say Start as you mean to go on... Well thats good enough for me at this time of Year !!
