Fawn release done on Thursday; shot from two cameras (sorry about the lighting; it was early morning and the sun was at an extreme angle). These fawns came in as tiny spotted babies (orphaned) and were grouped together and raised by one our our dedicated rehabbers. One fawn (the one that bolted the quickest from the carrier) was a game warden seizure (taken from an unlicensed individual who was raising the fawn; it was then integrated into one our our fawn herds). Now that they are weaned and grazing, they are old enough to released. They were released into a nature sanctuary with the permission and assistance of Harris County Precinct 4 Parks Department.
