Fayette’s Biggest Food Drive – Your Help Needed! On Saturday, September 14, the entire county will participate in Fayette’s Biggest Food Drive, working to fill a 53’ trailer with non-perishable items to help our Fayette County neighbors in need. The trailer will be at the Gazebo in Fayetteville from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. that Saturday. The event will collect specific items to assist with quick sorting and distribution. The items are: baked beans/pork and beans, beef stew, cereal, dry beans, peanut butter/jelly, rice, canned spaghetti sauce, canned tomato products, toilet paper, laundry detergent, napkins, and paper towels. Local Food Pantries to pick up donated items following the drive, please email arwenmulli@gmail for an application. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to assist with pickup and delivery of items on September 14. If volunteers are available, the City of Peachtree City can establish additional collection points to accept donations prior to September 14.
