Fear and Faith. - Fear sees the worst. Faith believes the best, and even if the best becomes the worst, faith finds a way through. - Fear insinuates doubt. Faith grasps Gods hand and believes. - Fear retreats. The fearful Israelites cried out, Lets go back to Egypt. - See Numbers 14: 3. Faith advances. Caleb shouted, Lets up and take the land! - Fear regards the unknown as a threat. Faith regards the unknown as a challenge. - Fear seeks comfort from the past. Faith seeks the opportunities of the present. - Fear wants the known, the predictable, the status quo. Faith delights in the adventure of the unknown. - Fear sees the obstacles. Faith seizes the possibilities. - Fear cripples, paralyzes, stifles. Faith liberates, frees, enables. - Fear sees what is and trembles. Faith sees what can be and rejoices. - Fear focuses on and exaggerates the problem. Faith sees beyond the problem and looks to the God who can solve it. - Fear sees problems as bigger than God. Faith sees God bigger than any problem. - Fear infects others with the virus of doubt. Faith inspires others with the serum of hope. - Fear tends to blame God for the problem. Faith trusts God through the problem. Faith is believing God - trusting Him. It is a settled confidence in Him. It moves at His command. It obeys at His word. It walks in His strength and lives in His power. Stop having Fear and start having faith. Psalm 46: 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
