Fear not. Possible OIL ISSUE SOLUTION going forward: Instead of playing with the “EPA permit-protecting jokers,” it is highly suggested that our senators/governor-elect do not wait until after they are sworn in, but immediately contact other regions where oil storage exists and create a business venture with them. As a matter of fact, it is highly suggested by those in the know that the HOVENSA site is the prime area for the location and best choice of use of an oil storage facility / container port of OUR OWN, emulating places like Puerto Rico. ---------------------- The 30th Legislature of the U.S. Virgin Islands also denied Tibbar the land lease it earlier garnered after a surprise reconsideration after it was reordered to the floor although it first got an 8 - 6 passing vote. It failed after the reorder. Both agreements are out the door at this time. The senators felt enough protection was not built in to these long contracts, among other things. 42 and 25 years respectively.
