Fear still looming large over apprehension of cyclonic storm, this - TopicsExpress

Fear still looming large over apprehension of cyclonic storm, this time hudhud, hitting the coastal Odisha, specially Paradip to Gopalpur is not yet averted according to the positioning of well 890 km away from our south coast. Ganjam, Puri and part of Khurda district would be worst affected. Still it is premature to forecast the intensity and the exact impact point. But unlike phyline preparations exactly a year back, the preparedness of the State Govt. this time is overtaken by Kandhamal by-poll as the Ministers heading the important departments like Health, Supply and Disaster Management are all in Kandhamal, when they are required in the Control Room at Bhubaneswar . For the CM the priority is any election. Win in elections by hook or by crook is his main hobby. At the rate of Rs. 500/- per vote, to garner 4 lakh votes CM targets 20 crore only for bribing. Another 5 crore for other expenses like feast, transport, drinks etc. In this by- poll, BJD has a budget to spend 30 crore to which none in the opposition can match. The contractors with respective MLAs and MPs/ Ministers are camping in Panchayats and Blocks looking after each booth. This is called floor management to which both Congress and BJP can not match. Money for such expenditure comes from mining mafia Prabhakaran and Sanatan Mahakud, besides the Cheat Funds. Our CM is directly involved assisted by his Tamil IAS officer Pandiyan. We know, how Adharma leads to suffering. When the King does Adharma, the people suffer through natural calamities . Till NP continues as CM, it appears floods, storms like calamities will never leave Odisha and its poor people in the coastal districts. In a democracy, in order to continue in power, bribing voters is not only illegal, it is Adharma . It is Adharma for both, who pays as well as who takes. Greater Adharma by the CM, because he has taken oath not to violate the law.
