Featured firefly: My son and I were traveling through the area on our way back to Georgia. Stopped in town for the night and did a Yelp search for places to eat. This popped up so we decided to try it Boy, were we ever pleasantly surprised. Starting with our waiter, Jordan, the whole experience was amazing. You can taste the difference in the fact that everything is locally sourced, or grown in their own garden. The filet we both had is from the prime of the prime beef. The best weve ever eaten. It is pricey, but well worth it if you want to give yourself a treat! It was my sons 1st time trying a filet cut. His face after the 1st bite was priceless! We came in right at 8p, not realizing they closed at 9(we left about 930ish). And no one seemed bothered by the fact that we were keeping them there. Jordan was very knowledgable about the food and history of the place. You could tell he cared. Thats rare today in the food industry. So if you are EVER in the Effington, IL. area, stop in and give them a try. You wont be disappointed. Jon from Tennessee
