February 20th my dad went to the doctor not feeling great and was admitted to the hospital with a collapsed right lung, he had a drain tube placed and was released a few days later only to be re admitted to be watched. He spent a few more days and the chest drain was removed on March 6th. After his l CT scan last week it was decided that he will need surgery to repair the hole in his lung. Thursday, tomorrow he will see the surgeon and most likley be admitted with surgery Friday....once we have the final details I will post them. When he is admitted to the hospital it is a private room to reduce chance of infection, he had a double lung transplant 6 years ago this coming July, so they are always very cautious. Asking for good thoughts and prayers for him and mom. As most people know mom had a stroke and is good but the added stress is hard on all of us, so lots of positive thoughts and prayers always get us through these difficult medical issues.
