February 2nd Sunday 2014 Communion service with pastor Chris. Theme: Month of consolation(comfort). This month of february is a very special month 2nd Corinthians 1:3 I want to give youb picture so you understand. In January the Lord said its a year of greatness. Notice where the message came from. Joshua 3:6-7 KJV And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people. And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.. When God is Increasing your greatness it means greater challenges are coming. Nomatter where you are, no matter what You are going through. 2 Corinthians 1:3-6 KJV Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. The word difficulty there is not sickness but troubles, difficulties but the Lord will deliver us from them all. These are perilious times, these are trouble times. It doesnt matter where you find yourself in life, cheer up there is up for you. Life is from one degree to another. It doesnt matter how they come, they ate gonna come. Thats where God magnifies you, when it doesnt come nothing happens THIS MONTH is a month of CONSOLATION. Its our month of comfort, no matter how devilish the challenges are you will win Dont turn to the left or right, stay in Gods word. Comfort others by the word, dont add to their troubles. Be Gods voice of comfort to others, and he also is working on your behalf. Pray in tongues this month. Is any afflicted let him pray, dont call your friends, neighbours, cousins and discuss it, he said pray. When you call people here and there, you start hearing different voices. Maintain your position in christ. So stay in the word and victory will be sure. Communion Isaiah 40:1-2 KJV Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lords hand double for all her sins. The glory of God shall be revealed in my life. All flesh shall see when you cross that Jordan. Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
