February is Black History Month... where would March Madness be today if not for Wilt Chamberlin? Or Peanut Butter be if it werent for George Washington Carver? Gas masks and traffic lights without Garrett Morgan? Or worse yet, automatic gear drive vehiclez be without Richard Spikes? Cell phones be without Henry Sampson? Clothes dryers be without G. T. Sampson? Doorknobs be without O. Dorsey? Guitars without Robert Fleming, Jr.? Lawnmowers without L.A. Burr? Refrigerators without J. Standard? Stoves without T.A. Carrington? Air conditioners without Frederick Jones? We have a ton to be thankful for that our black community has given to the world over the years, and all the above during a time of dractically intense oppression against their color. Yet, a lot of that hate continues still today! Leave it in the past and appreciate a brotha or sista today.
