FedEx No more, If you live in the Middle East you should think - TopicsExpress

FedEx No more, If you live in the Middle East you should think several times before mailing anything via FedEx. Another typical example of double standard; While living in the U.S. I used fedex as well as other shipping companies. In most cases they were accurate in their delivery date. In case of a delay they would definitely compensate the client. Well, recently I shipped some documents including medical reports to NY from Cairo Egypt The delivery was 11days late, while the cost was about $70, I had a very hard time reaching their costumer services in Egypt and finally that was their response: Sorry its fedex policy not to compensate customers in the Middle East. Here is a copy of fedex response: Please note that we will not able to honor a refund for this package as no claim could not be handled for delayed shipments as per FedEx policy.
