Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Technical Aid Corps (TAC) Massive Recruitment 2013 - Over 100 Positions The Technical Aid Corps (TAC) scheme is a viable volunteer programme operated by an African country across ACP countries. From independence, aid and technical assistance have been at the core of Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives. TAC began in 1987 to complement direct financial aid from Nigeria to ACP countries through skills exchange towards strengthening international understanding and cooperation. Following the ongoing reforms and in strict adherence to the provisions of the Technical Aid Corps Act and the Directorate’s operational guidelines, it is hereby announced that recruitment by the Directorate shall henceforth be based strictly on receipt of formal requests from recipient countries. 2.
