Federal Police Action in Nevada Like many of you, I see there is growing concern how the federal government is handling a situation with a rancher in Nevada. I think we are seeing militarized over-reactions to far too many situations. I am not determining who is right regarding the land use issue between the rancher and the BLM. But I do know that the federal government in general has been running private businesses, farmers and ranchers off federal land in order to lock up it for preservation which is another way to say no one can use it except insects and birds. I also know that the Western states have been deprived of their rightful control over large chunks of land.
