Federal government has ordered the provincial authorities to seize the publication houses responsible for publishing said books. An edict has also been issued to buy back the books that have been sold so far. According to reports, the disputed book is the Pakistan Studies book for different levels of studies in Primary, Elementary and High schools. Khabaristan Times was informed that the book contained statements that current prime minister of Pakistan was once bald and that his current hair is not genuine. We have also learnt that said book contained explicit pictures of the PM’s bald head. The news spread like wild fire and a number of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supporters made it to the streets to protest against the outrageous attempt to belittle their leader. PM’s baby brother Shahbaz Sharif, the Punjab chief minister, addressed a rally of angry protestors in Faisalabad. “The KP government is trying to fool Pakistanis. We will not let anyone rewrite history. We have been serving the nation for over a century now and everyone knows us well. Everyone knows that we have never been bald,” howled the Punjab CM, waving fists and making other vulgar gestures. He said that the party’s opponents are using cheap tactics to defame his party.https://khabaristantimes/national/textbook-banned-in-kp-for-misleading-information-about-nawaz-sharifs-hair/
