Neither from the great demo in Shannon on Sunday in support of Shannonwatch. Shannonwatch have been observing the illegal use of this airport by U.S. military and rendition flights, with the stated objective to obtain accountability for both from the relevant Irish authorities and political leaders. Shannonwatch actively supports the Peace And Neutrality Alliances (PANA) campaign against the integration of Ireland into the U.S., and other military structures, and in particular the use of Shannon Airport by the U.S. military on their way to and from their wars across the world, eg., Afghanistan and Iraq.
