Fee reimbursement ceremony to be held tomorrow at SU JAMSHORO: An important meeting of organizing committee under the chair of newly appointed vice chancellor of Sindh University (SU) Prof. Dr. Abida Taherani was held at Senate Hall of Administration Building, University of Sindh Jamshoro which finalized the arrangements made on the campus in a bid to organize the fees repayment ceremony tomorrow (Sunday) under the Prime Minister’s fee reimbursement scheme. The secretary of the ceremony Prof. Dr. Sarfraz Hussain Solangi on the occasion briefed the organizing committee about the preparations & the arrangements made for organizing the event successfully. He told that a total number of 3184 students & scholars of different seven universities of the province including the Sindh University will be able to get their cheques of waived off fees as per public announcement made by the prime minister of Pakistan. In the meeting, all those students of masters and scholars of M. Phil & PhD who were invited to attend the ceremony, have been advised to reach at Sindh University tomorrow (Sunday) at 9.00 am sharply. The ceremony is being organized at Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto Research Chair & Convention Centre (SMBBRC&CC), Allama I.I Kazi Campus Jamshoro by the host Sindh University wherein approximately 2028 students as well as scholars of University of Sindh Jamshoro, 553 scholars of Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Jamshoro, 40 students of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro, 12 Scholars of the University of Karachi, 5 scholars of NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi, 3 students of Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi and 543 scholars of Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam will be disbursed the fees in the ceremony. The meeting stressed the invitees of the program to reach at the convention centre in time so that any disturbance in this connection may be thwarted. On the other hand, senior transport officer Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah told the meeting that the point buses will be plied on different routes including Old Campus Hyderabad, Market, Qasimabad, Laifabad 5, 7 & Kotri for the facility of the students. He advised the students to be prepared at 8 pm sharply so that they might not miss the point buses.
