Feedback from Mr. Anoop Chaudhary about Maghi Mahotsav 2070 sent to TC. - (What do you think of it? Please give your views too) I want to convey a message to the organizer of Maghi Mahotsav through Tharu Community Official Page. I hereby want congrates for all the success of Mahotsav. Everything was great and I felt lucky to be part of it. I have been attending Mahotsav since Im in Kathmandu. Every year many cultural programs are being organized at Tudikhel of different caste. I have been attending all those events with no ticket. And except this Maghi Mahotsav, there were no ticket system for entry. Though it may be difficult for organizer to manage depending on their fund resource but I against of paying to be part of the event. There was no any special discount for students too as we paid Rs.40, though its not big amount for the cultural event but I hereby want to say that ticketing system in such BIG occassion is questionable as we never paid in earlier year to be part of Maghi Mahotsav or other events by other Indigenous caste. And also, the Mahotsav was just so amazing with lots of cultural dances but I didnt get the theme of our Maghi Mahotsav 2070 when performer at the stage performed in Nepali songs and Hindi songs. I guess it was Tharu New Year and our Maghi Mahotsav but performing in Hindi song do reflect our culture? I have no hard feelings for the organizer but I felt I must give the feedback. I hope in coming future, we might get to witness such great events as well. Thank You
