Feedback from a care manager who recently did our online Safer People Handling course: I have just completed the Safer People Handling theory course online and I was impressed I must admit. It covered everything our team would need to know, I particularly liked the video presentations showing how to complete the manoeuvres safely, The presentations are at a good steady pace not rushed and Im in know doubt those who have completed this are confident they can perform their duties if called on. When rolling a patient you had five which looks very dignified, a lot better than our training where we would use just 2 staff to perform this goes to show how you have thought of how it looks as well as the safety of those involved. In fact all the way through I was comparing it to our training and that is what I thought a couple of times, that the dignity of the patient was at the forefront. Thank you for showing it to me.
