Feedback from last nights P/Meeting. 14/00530/FUL Wellesbourne Garage was refused again on the grounds of not enough parking. 14/00528/VARY voted to keep condition 20 which is an archaeological survey 14/00598/REM Aston Martin parking for 154 cars/vans was granted but the council are asking for better landscaping. The trees that have been cut down already SDC have received complaints so this is being taken up with the contractor. Due to all the publicity the P/Council felt they should respond about the W/Airfield and are putting out a press release to say they are totally against this. What Alan G has said in his post is correct, as this has gone in so late the feeling is it will be looked at by the inspector but one of the other four sites will probably be preferred. The new road is one of the reasons and WCC have no plans for our local roads. It is a brownfield and agricultural site, jobs will be lost, history lost. So my feeling is we wont lose our Airfield. BUT I do think the airfield management should put a plan together to buy it and keep it safe from future development. Dovehouse Plans goes to SDC Planning next Wednesday and they need support at the meeting from you all. Please lets look at our lovely village as a whole and support each other, go if you can Kineton High School WCSS plans are going into SDC this morning so lets hope it wont be long now. Hilary
