Feedback from one of our hard working students in her first job: Thanks Claire, honestly I was like is this normal? I think you are right and in time I will have more power to negotiate. We are getting the second nanny on the 2nd of July, I met her on the STCW course and referred her. I cant figure if their non committal (no set hours, no set breaks, no set days off, no job outline) way of being is a rich thing or a cultural thing. I try to think of the good things like, we went on a ten seater private plane and on lots of holidays. I will be like I LOVE MY LIFE when I start getting days off and regular breaks.
