Feedback from the Classroom: Green Point Christian College is located on the Central Coast of NSW. We are a K-12 school with just over 1000 students. We have found Skwirk to be a handy tool used when teaching on a variety of subjects and topics. In Stage One, the children are engaged with the bright and colourful animations. The linked interactive games and activities as well as the supporting worksheets often provide a good foundation or introduction for new topics. Even the transitions between activities hold the students’ attention with the mini animations such as a cartoon ball hitting the face of a cartoon girl and boy. In the upper stages, the information is presented in an interesting format to support the teaching and learning sessions on a regular basis. We have really enjoyed implementing the use of Skwirk in our IWB classrooms and recommend this program to other schools.
