Feedback on public transport consultations in the MRC - A FRENCH VERSION TO FOLLOW IN A SEPARATE POST Good afternoon, The Régie intermunicipale des transports des Collines would like to thank you for your participation in public consultations on public transit needs. Please find attached, the highlights of consultations. We have considered all comments submitted to us in the public consultations and we will continue efforts to remain attentive to the public. This year, the organization is encouraging residents of Les Collines to follow development of the project and stay informed about its progress. The next step is to establish routes with partners. “We are very enthusiastic about this project and we are currently working with the Société de transport de l’Outaouais to establish a flexible public transit system for two-way access between rural and urban areas by 2015,” says Ms. Caryl Green, president of the Régie intermunicipale de transport and mayor of Chelsea. The Régie de transport des Collines consists of the municipalities of Cantley, Chelsea, La Pêche and Val-des-Monts. Its primary mission is to provide a new urban-style public transit service in La Pêche and Val-des-Monts while upgrading transit service in Cantley and Chelsea. Meetings of the board of directors are open to members of the public who wish to attend and dates are posted at transportsdescollines.org.
