Feel like taking on a challenge? In just ten days, Teebo.org will be launching a crowdfunding campaign to end the starving season in Goumsin, a village in the West African nation of Burkina Faso. Until we raise our $10,000 goal, a core group of us (and you, you challenge-lover?) will be eating only one meal a day in an act of solidarity for the people of Goumsin, who endure four months of starvation every year because of depleted soil, drought, and poor storage systems. The founder of Teebo is from Burkina Faso, and all funds raised will be used to sponsor a pilot agricultural program developed by collaboration between American ag experts and the farmers of Goumsin.
