Feeling a bit down today. Ive been lucky enough to attend the last two World Equestrian Games (Aachen and Kentucky), and I was so looking forward to going to Normandy for WEG this month, too. I was honoured to be asked to take a position as a Vet Writer in the Vetting Ring for the Endurance event, however today I had to decline the position. :( The downside is that I wont catch up with many endurance friends from around the world who will also be there, and I wont have the opportunity to make new friends as I have at both past WEGs that I have attended. The upside is that I have the security of a home for myself and my business, and a wonderful team of friends and riders around me who are encouraging and positive. Thank you to everyone who has assisted me to gain my independance with Splendacrest, and Im also grateful for the opportunity to stay home and see the WEG results unfold via the internet, in the comfort of my own living room. Good luck to all of the Australian Team, and I hope you come home with medals galore!
