Feeling a bit irritated. I canceled my car insurance earlier this month because I no longer have the car. They pulled out a payment anyways. The lady at the insurance company was really apologetic and tried to be helpful but said my only options were to cancel the payment which would cost me $25 from them or wait for them to reimburse it which could take months. She said she would request the $25 fee be waived and suggested I call the bank to stop payment and so I did. Although she was nice, Bank of America WAS NOT! After being transferred multiple times I was left to talk to a really unpleasant woman who didnt understand what I was saying, after finally breaking it down word for word she said Well if I put a stop payment on it, youll get charged $30. I asked her by who and she said us and proceeded to give me attitude about why would I be getting charged if they really canceled my policy. I didnt feel like explaining it all over again so I thanked her for her time and hung up... So all this to find out that the $51 payment that was taken out would possibly cost me $55 to stop it... Praying that the insurance company wont take forever/ forget to reimburse me. Ugh.
