Feeling a little nostalgic today reflecting on this and that. After Dad passed in 1971 and Mum couldnt afford to keep me at St Pius X in Ley Street Como I landed at Koonawarra Primary in Como playing for the Manning Junior Football Club where Brian Peake and Peter Spencer came from until we moved to Rossmoyne in 1975. I think of so many of the boys and girls I went to Koonawarra PS with regularly and I am still in touch with Robert Meldrum and Tracey Brewster. Its like we are related after 50 years of memories. I do wonder what path my life would have taken had we remained at 157 Manning Road opposite the library, creek and tip although I may have been the only under 18 player with short back and sides like in Kylie Burges 1975 photo. I dont know what Lost Perth topic I wish to chat about tonight on 6PR at 1030 with Chris Ilsley but I hope you listen to us or call 92211882 to say HI !
