Feeling disgusted! Watching the news today Find out a child had his lunch thrown out because his mom was $2.40 in the hole on his card. He approached with his lunch, was overdraw, so they threw it out and gave him a cheese sandwich. This poor kid was teased to the point of not wanting to go back the next day! Over less than a gallon of gas? They interviewed the parent, and she just had an overwhelming week.Who doesnt sometimes? What bothers me more is the families that may not be able to keep up with their accounts, but dont qualify for subsidies. I dont have the answer , but Id like to believe that elementary school students shouldnt have to pay for this.
