Feeling frustrated today, the 2 out of the 4 people involved in the theft of Damn near everything I owned went to court today. Lawanda Horn Riggs Smith got probation,SENTENCED DEFENDANT TO 10 YEARS TDCJ PROBATED 10 YEARS, RESTITUTION @ $44,304.17 WITH CO DEFENDANT PER AGREED RECOMMENDATION DEFENDANT GUILTY OF THEFT OVER $20K, So no jail time for this loser as of now.. From what im told, if she breaks probation, which includes not making payments of restitution to us, she will go to Prision for the term of Ten Years, and her husband John well he was arrested and was still on probation for a previous burglary in Galveston County Texas, so he spent 281 days in jail waiting on his sentencing, found him guilty and sentenced him to 8 years, Of course now the new journey of how will and how do I get my money from them, That is if they even pay a dime. I know deep down inside she will not pay the $369.20 a month (YEAP YOU READ IT RIGHT $369.20 A MONTH) SO WE GET TO LIVE THIS NIGHTMARE FOR 10 MORE YEARS. I CAN NOT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW. Only thankful I made the right decision yesterday not to go to the court house, cause lord knows I would not be writing you this today!
