Feeling grateful. My husband loves to sleep outside in our screened in porch during these summer nights. As I watch him (from indoors) get down and rise up from that mat it’s a real process due to his paralysis. I think of the verse in John 5:8 when Jesus was speaking to the paralyzed man, he said, “Stand up, pick up your mat and walk.” Grateful Bob can do that!! Was reading the bible verse, “Come, let us bow down and worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” God still listens whether we’re on our knees, standing or sitting. But for those who are disabled, sick or old kneeling is difficult. Read Psalm 95:6 and if you are able to kneel in prayer, be grateful for knees that bend to the will of God. I’m trying to find something every day to be grateful for, no matter how humble or simple.
