Feeling kind of down today.A youngster I been helping out with a court case asked me not to show to court tomorrow.Hes afraid Im going to tick off the public defender who I refer to as the public pretender.The lawyer Shawn Kelly keeps getting mad because the kid wont sign off on a felony.Of course I been teaching the kid about the law & utmost I been getting him to read The Rules of Professional Conduct.Most people dont know the rules of the court maybe because its not common knowledge.Im guessing its something reserved for attorneys.But if you Google it you will find & possibly find yourself in awe.In short its says your attorney is to do as you say & wish.Well all in all I been yelled at by the 1st judge.Wanted to know why I was there.The 2nd judge threaten to lock me up for contempt & would be in need of $1,000 to post bond.Seriously ROFL on that one.I was only laughing due to the fact the P.D. Shawn Kelly who asked to withdraw because the kid wanted to fight the case.The kid asked for a copy of Discovery of Facts & the P.D. Shawn Kelly said he did not have to give it to him.Clear violation of The Rules of Professional conduct & can be considered malicious prosecution in in civil court.That is usually preserved for the States Attorneys office which is notorious for locking up the innocent less you have big bucks to buy your way out of a case.Either way the Judge Maurico Araujo,court rm 102 @ Cook County Court in Chicago @ 2600 S. California is saying to this kid he now has to go pro-se,meaning he has to defend himself as he,the kid keeps saying the P.D. Shawn Kelly is ineffective assistance of counsel.Why because the P.D. wants to settle the case with the kid copping out & taking a ples.Maybe you can understand why I refer to the P.D.s office as the PUBLIC PRETENDERS OFFICE.Do the not have to work for their money?Are they not there to defend their clients to the best of their ability?Maybe on TV but in a real court the P.D.s office has a conviction rate equal to or greater to the States Attorneys office.This is why there are so many convictions,especially against the poor.But its not just the P.D. & the A.S.A but the Judges as well.The judge tells the kid he has to defend himself because the P.D. wont work with him(the kid).What ever happen to & I quote,You have the right to an attoeney.If you cannot afford an attorney a attorney will be appointed.Thats all good on paper & on TV but in reality it dose not work that way.All one would have to do is show up tomorrow at the Cook County Court building tomorrow in Chicago @ 26th & California in court rm 102 & hear how judge Araujo,P.D. Shawn Kelly & the A.S.A whats her face make a mockery of what we believe to be due process.I cant help but feel compelled to show tomorrow & see how this plays out.But me a lone hasnt done much outside of postponing a felony conviction.Im tempted to go but the kid said no because I been pissing everybody off & the may raise the bond as he plans to pay it tomorrow to get off of home monitoring.I use to & still believe a good man with a good heart can do great things.My goal to save a life,save this kids future.Am I this good mad,my heart is in the right place,can I do this.Like I said,a good man with a good heart can do great things.But with you by my side my fellow human beings we can be freaking awesome.Will you be,can you be awesome?Is it in you?Im asking for company to see that justice is served.Please share & hopefully I wont have to be alone on my crusade to save a life,save a future.These are my footprints in the sand,come walk with me.If not you I will still not be a lone.The Creator is by my side,he watches over me.In my darkest hours he has carried me.Now it is my duty to do,well lets just say on every day I wake I open my eyes,my mind ,my heart to one question,What would Jesus do?Tomorrow I will walk into the valley of death,I will fear no evil.Am I scared,YEP.But Ive been at my best with fear in my heart.But Id really love to have a few witnesses to expose the courts & its corruption to the general public & show how your tax dollars are being wasted.Maybe now youll understand why some people are pushing to privatize prisons.Theres money to be made in that but only by the rich at the expense of the poor paid for with your tax dollars.
