Feeling like I should get this message out this morning .... Since Ive been working at Queen Street Ive had so many people asking me how do I become a piercer? What course shall I take? The simple answer is you dont take a course its not just that simple. Firstly you have to have a genuine passion .... Not just an interest in the whole industry ..... If you only want to train in above waist or think that body modification is weird then i for one know that I will never take you as a serious professional In this industry. Be aware that it takes TIME.... If you do GENUINELY think YOU have what it takes then take small steps... Get pierced yourself, talk to REPUTABLE PROFESSIONALS , hang out at studios. DO NOT just hand ££££ over to the first moron who says yeah Ill train you up do your research! So far in my career Ive agreed to teach only ONE person only a tiny proportion of my knowledge.. And thats because I spent enough time and knew her well enough to ensure that what I did teach her would be used in only THE best way. Please before you ask bare this in mind .... Money is not the answer to everything. Just because youre willing to pay for my knowledge still doesnt mean Im going to teach you. If you are genuinely interested in getting an insight to the industry then come & let me pierce you, know what the whole experience involves. Most importantly take the time to get to know me so that I in turn can get to know you. Only then do we have the basis for you to even consider asking will you teach me to pierce?. Finally dont be offended if I say no ! Ive done it hundreds of times before and when I do finally decided to teach someone the whole lot..... I have to be 1million percent sure that its the right thing for us both!
