Feeling like a crumb!! I went into the kitchen to get a bite to eat, and my dog Zee, followed me in like usual...see, if I get a treat, then my animals usuallly get a morsel, well....I had given her a treat and she still followed me wanting more and I just yelled at her and as I was turning to step towards her, she was right next to me and the look on her face just broke my heart. She was not doing anything wrong, she was waiting for something that I had gotten her into the habit of expecting ya know? Here sat this creature who would in a moment lay down her life for my children or me.....she gave me one of the best gifts I ever received....her son, My pal and one of the best friends I ever had! George!! I just dropped to my knees and hugged her as tight as I could, while I lost a friend she lost her son...and the only other resident similiar to her here in the home!! So now she is in there eating quite a bit extra treats!!!
