Feeling overwhelmed? Today’s fast from wrong thinking is for you! If you have ever felt overwhelmed, then today’s thought is for you! Many times, people are weighed down with thoughts like: “This will take forever,” “I’ve got too much to do,” “This is too much for me to take,” “There isn’t enough time,” “I can’t take it anymore.” These thoughts have to go--- today! Think about this. Everything you see in this world was created by God in six short days. God is in the business of getting things accomplished, and getting them done fast. You can expect His help today and not have to carry your burden alone. Most people don’t understand what Jesus meant when He said, “Take My yoke upon you,” (Matthew 11:29).?A yoke is a harness or instrument placed upon two oxen. It causes them to plow together. So, when one gets weak or overwhelmed, he can continue by being pulled by the other. When we feel weighed down, we need to TAKE HIS YOKE. He is attached to us and will carry the load for us. LET’S CHANGE IT TODAY: 1. Cast your cares upon Him. He will care for you. (1 Peter 5:7) How? Be honest. Tell him what’s wrong (what’s up). Ask Him to carry it for you and believe He will. Remember, after you cast your cares, don’t run to pick them up. Let Jesus carry the load for you. 2. See yourself attached to Him, or yoked, to Him. He holds you up and pulls you when you are weak and overwhelmed. You are one with Him. When you feel weak and burdened, remember that He is carrying you. 3. Begin to believe that you can handle anything. Start believing this today. You can handle and accomplish anything. Mark 9:23 “All things are possible for those who believe.” 4. Feast on this thought: Nothing is too difficult for God. (Jeremiah 32:17). If nothing is too difficult for Him, and He lives in you—then nothing is too difficult for you. 5. God will complete those things that concern you. Psalm 138:8. As you surrender those concerns to Him, they are His responsibility. THINK IT & SAY IT I can handle anything today, because I am yoked to Jesus. Today, I cast all my cares on Jesus. He cares for me and will carry my load. Nothing is too difficult for God, therefore, I declare that nothing is too difficult for me today! He is the author and finisher of my faith.
