Feeling pretty sad this morning. A typical morning, go in the garage to feed the outdoor cats and our rabbit Junior, only to find Junior not breathing. Junior was a wild rabbit that Chase Harrison and Rebecca Carey found in the big dirt pile, they brought him to me so thrilled with themselves 9 years ago Mothers Day. Rebecca said Mommy you have always wanted a rabbit and she was right I did. I always wanted a cow too, thank goodness they did not find one of those! Chase pretty much named him after Nascar driver Junior Johnson, still wondering if he is really a male rabbit. I feed him with a dropper of dry powdered milk and water for weeks. Was told to let him go and that he would never live, but he did and he probably lived longer than he would if he had been in the wild. He would get so excited with clover, carrots and especially his crunchy rabbit food. Will miss my Junior very much!
