Feeling quite tired and emotional... Been keeping up with pain pills for Skylar today, she didnt miss a dose, she asked for them every 4 hours... Also said it hurt where the pins are... I can only imagine... :( Then went and got Thads new lenses... Bifocals... To say that went over well would be a lie. Let them watch a movie since hubs is out of town traveling with his boss... By the time the movie started he was ok with them, but not seeing good results yet with them. Sitting here (in tears, Ill be honest) reflecting and praying. God is here. He hasnt left me. This is the time that I lean into Him and let Him comfort me. While there are trials and hurts, I cant complain. I have no reason too. But sometimes a good cry is needed. I dont doubt where my God is. I dont doubt that He doesnt love me or my kids. I dont doubt that He doesnt know what He is doing. Yes, its hard to see my kids hurt or confused, but I know that He is in control, and sometimes we need bumps (ahem-boulders) in our life. Those bumps and boulders dont make me love Him any less, it makes me love Him all the more. So I will go to sleep resting in His never ending arms of love, peace, comfort and joy, because I will chose joy in the midst of these hard times. (Not complaining, just being open and honest)
