Feeling really blessed right now. Its actually hitting reality, once I was at Big Bowl Rosedale talking to all my friends at Kevin Thao birthday dinner about my new job starting Monday! I have been on the hunt since April, and upon graduation in May of 2014, I was on a major job hunt mode. I was really frustrated and stressed out about not being able to find a great opportunity. However, I have finally landed an amazing opportunity. I cant wait to start on Monday. I am fulfilling my late grandma (aka Ba Noi) Kinh Tran as she had predicted. I would one day be a very successful person and make good money, because she said my ear lobes were a sign in Vietnamese folk beliefs. I want to personally thank the following individuals for their push, encouragement, an ear to hear me vent, a shoulder to cry on, a place to take a nap, or providing shelter for over night sleep for going to school or work the following morning, meeting me for a coffee or drinks to let loose. I have been for over two years, been up by 630 AM to catch a 7AM express bus to Downtown Minneapolis to get to Minneapolis Community and Technical College Library and to work Minnesota Childrens Museum, where I have been working since March 2012. You have all been a pivotal part of my accomplishments today! Thank you so much! I will be planning a celebatory evening of drinks and dinner soon!! It has been a wild journey over these past two plus years of hard work, determination and working my ass off with school and working at the museum and library and graduated with a 3.62 GPA. A lot of people judge me about my life decisions, but I make my own path and am so blessed with all the positive energy and back up from all my friends & family!
