Feeling sad today that in todays modern free world, to be a Jew means that you can be walking on Oxford street London, on your phone and beaten up, or in Brooklyn be 83 and beaten up, or in Paris and have your shops and synagogue looted, or in Belfast, have your synagogue attacked or you can move to Israel, which was created after the holocaust as a safe place for jews, and you can find yourself under constant terror attacks, threats of kidnapping, shootings at civilians on roads, attempted sieges on kibbutzim, or running to bomb shelters every day with 1000 grad missiles in 14 days. These are grim times. Not much has changed since the anti Semitism of the Holocaust. I wonder what we have done to make the world hate us so much? What about all the incredible scientific and technological and medical breakthroughs our people have come up with that have changed the world - doesnt that count for anything? I wonder how people could side with those that believe in jihad and glorify death and killing their children, vs us. Maybe we look too strong, dont show our pain, stress, fear. I wonder if this is how the jews felt when they saw the world rising against them before they were rounded up for the gas chambers.....scared and shocked and incomprehensible at the illogical tide of hatred to our people. That is how I feel today...And I wonder, while the Islamic world tries to destroy us and wipe us off the earth, will you see it for what it is this time, and where will you stand?
