Feeling so grateful all day today for the job I have that allows me to travel, the bosses and co-workers that are amazingly generous and kind people, and that I love what I do and the people I talk to around the world each day. Most especially my boss, Edna, for her generous and giving heart. I feel very abundant. A few years ago when I was a single mom, I was afraid when I used my debit card and always prayed it would go through, sometimes it didnt and I would have to make a choice of which groceries to put back or did we need socks more than underwear. I was the recipient of the Salvations Armys hamper in years past. So happy I can breathe now when buying something in a store, even though the thought sneaks in every once in a while at a till and I find myself waiting to see what it will say even when I know its all good. It reminds me of how grateful I am today and how much I appreciate not having to hold my breath. ;) I kept thinking all day that I am blessed to I have a roof over my head, clothes to keep me warm and people who are there when I need them. So many others do not. If you have an extra dollar or two, I ask that you dont judge anyone on the street or someone you might know that is struggling, especially at this time of year and share some of your abundance, even if it is just to buy someone a hot chocolate to keep them warm. Its a good feeling and you will have spread the goodness of your heart with another.
