Feeling truly blessed as our family prayed and felt led to give away our Christmas this year to those who are much more in need.❤️I will have to say this has been the most stress free Christmas we um... (or should I say I ) have ever had!! We have really had the time to focus on what is most important Christ, others, and family.❤️ The children are not expecting anything for Christmas and are unaware but my husband and I decided to purchase them one gift and do a sort of a Nativity story scavenger hunt. We did eight envelopes for each one of our 3 children and in those we put acts of service time, special date with mom or dad, gift card to frozen Yoguart, time to work on a craft or project together, coupon for an at home movie night, bowling family night, a few dollars and a bank day to open savings account in their name to learn about $, having a family tea, and ice skating. Each flash card has an underlined clue where to look and find one of their envelopes and the next clue☺️! At the end is their one big gift❤️. The gift of time is most precious, we are not promised tomorrow and know that if I asked my children what they received for Christmas a couple of years ago they would probably not remember!! I will tell you they can recall in vivid detail special one on one or family time from years past!! Those memorize are etched in both of our minds and they are priceless!!! The blessing for us is that we have really found the true meaning of this Christmas by giving it away❤️! Best Christmas ever☺️!!!
