Feeling very blessed... Over the last week or so, I know a lot of people got the Cold Water Challenge. Me being one of them...and yeah it was COLD..(hence the name) and really...who wants to freeze? But...then I think of what the real purpose was...a chance to donate to a worthy cause, raise awareness for terrible diseases and to be a voice for those who are no longer with us or physically unable to take the plunge themselves. After facing Shawns accident/cancer scare last year....I was honored to be called out and Id do it again because really, its such a simple thing. Everyone got a few laughs but think of all the people that are now more aware of the struggles some face. You never know how that one silly splash affected someone or their family. That 30 seconds may have made someone smile as they sit with a sick relative, burying a loved one, waiting for results of a test, or any number of lifes obstacles.......
