Feeling very disheartened by my church experience today. I am spoiled by previously having a pastor that was a very gifted teacher of the Word and was never afraid to address critical issues. His messages were deep and thought provoking. The church we went to seemingly preached the truth but lacked order and conviction, the worship service was minimal and the pastors message seemed as if he was flying by the seat of his pants and was ill prepared. On a good note, we are not giving up and will continue our search next Sunday :-) The rest of the day was pleasant. Sis and I went to the store to pick up a few things then came back to my place and cooked some sausage on the grill and enjoyed some laughs and conversation with my daughter Jess.
