Feeling very nostalgic....remembering Christmases past. So lucky and grateful. Dad used to pile the kids into the car, and well go around looking at department stores displays. And just for fun, some of us kids will get together and go house-to-house singing Christmas carols. And our neighbors were so sweet and give us some change for which we were so grateful. The biggest meal was Noche Buena --- after midnight mass on Christmas Eve. The most sought after foods were jamon (Spanish-style smoked ham) and queso de bola (hard Cheese ball).
