Feeling vs efficiency - example and thoughts On some mornings, I cook up eggs. I prefer scrambled, with cheese, bacon bits, and perhaps onions and other foods/spices mixed in, but good luck clearing that. (ie:less healthy, makes more dirty dishes, takes longer) So, efficiency instead they are boiled in a specialty boiling machine that require no cleaning ever. So hard boiled eggs are the optimized way to eat eggs, or so Im told. :) Then the extremely hot eggs must be de-shelled. A small amount of cold faucet water is poured on them, for a few seconds. Then they are quickly shell rolled/cracked and bits of the shell are removed as fast as possible. Now the cold water only makes the eggs touchable for a few seconds, so you must de-shell them by then or burn your fingers. Some shell stick, and the quickly returning high heat burns your finger tips. A further factor is, you must get all they egg you can as waste is punishable. (ie: vitamin & protein levels are regulated as part of mood control) So if egg shell sticks, you must un-stick then instead of ripping off chucks of egg white. (ie: trash with the shells) You can learn to really hate shell sticking eggs in life, as you suppressed sounds linked to your physical suffering. lol :) So, you could take the added 10-20 seconds to to re-cool the eggs, and then continue de-shelling them. But, thats not efficient. It is more efficient that you burn your fingers slightly sometimes. How you resolve this real life equation of time, ability, resources and variables says much about you as a person. Or so I am told. lol :) So are you a feeling person who would re-cool the eggs, and do you realize what this waste makes better logic costs you in life overall? (ie philosophically, economically, time management wise) Or are you an efficient person, with slightly burned fingertips, and do you know the many rewards that come with a more efficient life? Ironically, I will make the scrambled eggs, with cheese, bacon bits, and perhaps onions and other foods/spices mixed in for a lady guest. (ie: or croissants with fruit cup or whatever she wants) The logic I choose to apply to myself is not a demand I would place on others. Synergy and synchronicity lifestyle adaptation has to be a person choice.
