Felix Sturm vs Robert Stieglitz (official) (FULL FIGHT) In an all-German clash at a 165.5 pound catch weight, former four-time middleweight champion Felix Sturm (39-4-3, 18 KOs) and former two-time super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz (47-4-1, 27 KOs) battled to an action-packed twelve round draw on Saturday night at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart, Germany. The larger Stieglitz was the aggressor, trying to impose his size advantage over the former 160lb champion, but was Sturm landing the CLEANER shots early. Stieglitz upped the pressure in round four. Good two-way action in most rounds. Stieglitz came on strong in round eleven and both left it all in the ring in round twelve. Scores were 115-113 Stieglitz, 115-113 Sturm, and 114-114. Both fighters talked about a rematch after the fight. WBO super middleweight Arthur Abraham expected to fight the winner, stated he thought Sturm won the fight. Also at ringside was WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, who agreed with the draw.
