Felix has endured some awful stuff in his brief 5 months of life. He came to Bellas yesterday evening because he needed emergent treatment of very painful bite wounds including a leg injury which looked like a possible fracture. He has been living outside in his former owners yard, is severely underweight and has been attacked by other animals. He spent the night with the wonderful staff at Animal Emergency Hospital in Bel Air and has no fractures, but has infected bite wounds which could require drain placement later if they dont improve with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications. He is still in a lot of pain and is not bearing weight on one leg, but seems to be feeling a little better this morning.
