Felix update... He was moved back to the NICU this morning due to hypoglycemia. Upon his arrival they found a sinus brady @ rate of 84. Hes been able to hold his blood sugar on colostrum / breast milk alone, but continues to lose weight. Hes a little jaundice also. His labs came back with some polycythemia and a CRP of 2. He continues to drop his bG between feedings. The frenulum is shortened and will be clipped tomorrow by ENT. Today we have had fabulous care on the high risk floor and NICU. Thanks to everyone that has taken time to send a good thought our way. Special thank yous to Dr. Jackie West Corcoran for going out of her way to visit, provide suggestions and moral support... and Kelly Dollarhide who is holding down the fort at home, running clean laundry to the hospital and buying cheese bread for Bryan... He hadnt eaten in a day when that arrived.
